Hi , Here is the Job Description below : Experience: 4-10Yrs Positions: Video/Audio Transcoding R&D Engineer/Team Leader – Advanced Products and Technologies Job Description: Dilithium develops innovative multimedia infrastructure equipment for mobile, fixed and converged networks. We are looking for a talented R&D engineer to contribute as part of the Advanced Products and Technologies (APT) group. The individual will be part of Dilithium's research and development group and will be involved in developing, analysing and improving media transcoder performance in the Dilithium products for media quality and computational efficiency. The individual will be a technical team lead and will have some oversight responsibilities for other members of APT in India (in differing technical areas). This is a unique opportunity to work on technically demanding projects with tight timescales as part of a highly skilled and innovative team. Required Skills Excellent communication skills, particularly written and oral/aural Excellent C (or C++) programming skills Ability to design, document, develop and debug complicated algorithms ensuring correctness of operation to specification Knowledge of embedded systems and/or real time systems Motivated and substantially self-directed (capable of working undirected for extended periods) Ability to lead a small team (<5 person) and track and report progress across multiple projects Exposure to video coding specifications (MPEG4,H.263, H.264) Desirable Skills Exposure to audio coding specifications (G.711, G.723.1, G.726, G.729, GSM-AMR) Broad technical knowledge of telecommunication systems such as VoIP or Multimedia Gateways Proficiency in an embedded (e.g. TI Code Composer Studio) development environment (simulation and JTAG) with runtime debugging Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio (C++) development environment Knowledge of video or audio codec internal module optimization for real time processing Understanding of issues involved in transport of media, especially across mobile (lossy) communications channels Exposure to networking media protocols like RTSP, RTP(UDP), RTCP Exposure to video telephony protocols (H.324/M, H.323 or SIP) Exposure to testing and analysis tools such as video analysers, WinSIP, Ethereal and scripting (e.g. Perl, Python) and test automation Experience 4+ years of Engineering or equivalent postgraduate experience Experience in leading (team lead/technical lead) a small team with oversight responsibility Desirable: Experience of working with remote sites and offset time zone Desirable: A working understanding of protection of Engineering or Research work via patents Candidates must be willing to travel abroad occasionally on a needs basis Education BE/BTech/ME/MTech (Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication) from IIT/NIT If you are really interested and willing to relocate to Noida then kindly send me your updated profile at the earliest as the requirement is very urgent.
